StoryCanvas is a small, independent children's publisher. We make the StarCanvas Kids series: short, beautifully illustrated picture books for ages 3 to 7, each built around one gentle idea that's easy to talk about at bedtime.
Why we make them
Young children feel everything in a big way: excitement, worry, frustration, joy. Picture books are one of the kindest ways to help them notice those feelings, give them names and practise what to do next.
So every StarCanvas Kids story has a clear, gentle focus. Checking in on a friend. Waiting for a turn. Taking one brave step. Making room for one more. Winding down for sleep. No lectures, just friends working things out together.
Welcome to Planet Pip
Planet Pip is a soft, glowing world of bounce-puddles, floating lanterns, cloud fairs and blanket forts. It's home to six friends: curious Nova, kind Milo, dreamy Pippa, builder Jax, bouncy Zuri and Blink, the robot lantern who glows the colours of feelings.
Children get to know the friends a little better in every story, which makes each new book feel like a visit from old pals.
